Cucumber time is preserving time
Whether you want to pickle vegetables from your own garden or from the weekly market: The only important thing is that the vegetables are washed well beforehand.
There is actually nothing that cannot go into a preserving jar:
Whether classic cucumbers, pumpkin, carrots, onions, cauliflower, beet or peppers, there are no limits to your imagination. A lot of different vegetables are used for a typical mixed pickle.
You can preserve a variety of vegetables with our pickling spice. Add approx. 2-3 tablespoons of pickling spice per liter to your pickling liquid.
Our tip: Cut a kohlrabi and a radish into slices and place them together in a jar with our preserving spice. The sharpness of the radish harmonizes perfectly with the mildness of the kohlrabi.
