description
Mango jam extra refined with brown cane sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice.
The mango originates from India and Borneo, the evergreen trees reach heights of up to 40 meters and live up to 300 years. Now common throughout the world in many warm countries, there are over 1000 different varieties of mango. They contain high levels of vitamin C and have a unique fragrance. We use the Alphonso variety, also known as the king of mangoes, because of its very juicy and sweet taste.
All our jellies, jams and marmalades are not mass-produced, but lovingly real handwork from production to bottling to labeling. The majority of the juices used for our jellies come from Germany.
With over 20 varieties, there is something for every taste.
Instead of conventional white sugar, we use only brown cane sugar, which not only gives our extra mango jam a much darker and more appealing color visually, but also gives it an incomparable taste with a slight hint of caramel.
Rounded off with fresh lemon juice instead of industrially produced citric acid, the natural acidity of the mango and its full-bodied sweet-fruity taste is perfectly flattered.
Our mango jam extra is not only a treat on the morning breakfast bread, but also ideal as a filling for cakes, pies, pastries or cookies, but also to refine for puddings or ice cream desserts to get an unusual exotic touch.
Our tip: To curry chicken or pork tenderloin some mango jam extra.
In our cute 50g jam jar with fluting, which makes the jar particularly good in the hand. As a tasting jar but also as a small gift always welcome.
