With our speculoos spice mix, you can now easily make this delicious cookie yourself. In Germany, speculoos are available in supermarkets from the fall. The finer the quality, the thinner the speculoos.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, speculoos are traditionally given as gifts and eaten on St. Nicholas Day on 6 December, but they are available all year round and are always popular. Because speculoos always taste good.

You can get shapes for your own speculoos wherever there are cookie cutters. From modern figures to classic shapes, everything is available.
But if you want something unusual, you should search around a bit and you will easily come across some very old baking molds made of aluminum, wood or stone, some of which are over 100 years old.

Our tip: Try to make the speculoos as thin as possible. The fine aroma comes through better than with “thick” speculoos.
